Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1-2 Bangalore - Haridwar/Dehradun
Pilgrims from Bangalore can reach Haridwar/Dehradun, the nearest towns to the Char Dham destinations. Pilgrims can opt for connecting trains, flights, or a combination of road journeys to Haridwar or Dehradun via Delhi. Upon arrival in Dehradun/Haridwar, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After a long journey, take some rest. In the evening, attend the Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Haridwar/Dehradun - Barkot
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel, where our guide will pick you up and drive towards Barkot, the first destination of the Char Dham journey. The drive takes around 5 hours, offering a beautiful road journey through rivers and mountains. Upon reaching Barkot, the guide will drop you at the hotel. Check in to the hotel and take rest after the long journey. In the late evening, you are free to explore local sightseeing. Then, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
Get up early in the morning and drive towards Jankichatti, the starting point for Yamunotri. Reach Jankichatti, the last motorable point to Yamunotri, from where pilgrims begin the next 6 km journey by trekking on foot or can opt for a Ponies or Palki service. Upon reaching Yamunotri Dham, take blessings from Goddess Yamuna and explore Surya Kund. Afterward, trek back towards Jankichatti, where the guide will pick you up and drop you at the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5 Barkot - Uttarkashi
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel. Our guide will pick you up and drive towards Uttarkashi, the next Char Dham destination. Upon reaching Uttarkashi, check in to the hotel and take some rest. Later, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Afterward, return to the hotel, have dinner, and prepare for the next day's journey. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Get up early in the morning, where our guide will pick you up and drive towards Gangotri. The journey to Gangotri offers scenic views of Harsil Valley and the beautiful river. Upon reaching Gangotri, take the revered blessings of Goddess Ganga and spend some time there. Afterward, travel back towards Uttarkashi, return to the hotel, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 7 Uttakashi - Guptkashi
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and drive towards Guptkashi, which is around 6 hours of road travel. Upon reaching Guptkashi, the guide will drop you at the hotel. Take some rest after the long journey and prepare for your next day's journey to Kedarnath. Have dinner at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 8 Guptkashi - Kedarnath
Wake up early in the morning, and the guide will pick you up for the Kedarnath journey. If pilgrims choose a quicker journey by the Kedarnath Helicopter Service, the guide will drop them at the Phata/Sersi or Guptkashi helipad. If pilgrims opt for the trekking journey, the guide will drop them at Sonprayag, from where they can take a local taxi to reach Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, they will begin the 16 km moderate trek towards Kedarnath Dham, which pilgrims can complete either by trekking or by taking a palki/pony ride. Upon reaching Kedarnath Dham, pilgrims can have a sacred darshan of Lord Shiva. Afterward, visit Bhim Shilla and Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi. Then, check in to the hotel at Kedarnath, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay there.
Day 9 Kedarnath - Guptkashi
Get up early in the morning and attend the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple. Afterward, have breakfast, check out from the hotel, and begin the return journey towards Gaurikund. From there, travel to Sonprayag, where our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Guptkashi. Take rest after the long journey, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Guptkashi - Badrinath
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and drive towards Badrinath. The journey to Badrinath takes you via Pipalkoti and Joshimath. Upon reaching Badrinath, check in to the hotel, then visit Badrinath. There, visit Tapt Kund and take a holy dip in the natural hot water kund. Return to the hotel, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 Badrinath - Rishikesh
After having breakfast, get ready and check out from the hotel. Then, travel back towards Rishikesh. On the way, pilgrims can visit the Dhari Devi Temple in Srinagar. After an 8-hour road journey, reach Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel, take rest, have dinner, and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12-13 Rishikesh/Dehradun - Bangalore
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and drop you at the railway station, bus stand, or airport in Dehradun, depending on your chosen mode of transport. If you choose a mixed journey of road, train, or air via Delhi, our guide will drop you at Delhi, from where you can begin your next journey towards Bangalore. Upon reaching Bangalore, the Char Dham tour package concludes.
