Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1-2 Chennai - Delhi
Begin the Char Dham journey from Chennai by taking either a train or flight to Delhi. Reach Delhi Airport or New Delhi Railway Station, our agent will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Delhi - Haridwar
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast then our guide will pick you up, and start your journey towards Haridwar. The road journey takes approximately 5 hours. Upon reaching Haridwar, check into the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Then, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay there.
Day 4 Haridwar - Barkot
Get up in the morning, have breakfast, and check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up, and you will start your journey towards Barkot. The road journey takes approximately 5-6 hours. Upon reaching Barkot, check into the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, take a stroll in the local area and enjoy the mesmerizing natural beauty. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot
Get up early morning and get ready for your first destination of Char Dham journey. The guide will pick you up and start traveling through Janki Chatti, the last motorable point to Yamunotri Dham. From there, pilgrims have to complete the 6 km trek by foot or have the option to take a Ponies or Palki service to reach Yamunotri. Reach Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund, and then offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna. Then, explore Divya Shilla and then return back towards Janki Chatti. From there, the guide will pick you up and drop you at the hotel in Barkot. Have dinner and overnight stay there.
Day 6 Barkot - Uttarkashi
After having breakfast, check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and drive towards Uttarkashi for the second destination on the Char Dham journey. The journey from Barkot to Uttarkashi is approximately 2.5 hours of road travel. Reach Uttarkashi, check in to the hotel, take some rest, and freshen up. Then visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kuteti Devi Temple. Afterward, return to your hotel, have dinner, and prepare for the next day's journey.
Day 7 Uttakashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Get up early in the morning and then drive towards Gangotri, around 2.5 hours of road journey. Reach GangotriDham, then visit the temple and pray to Goddess Ganga. Spend some time there and appreciate the beauty of the temple. Then travel back towards Uttarkashi. Back to your hotel, have dinner, and overnight stay there.
Day 8 Uttarkashi - Guptkashi
Have breakfast in the morning and then check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and take you to Guptkashi, around 7 hours of journey. On the route, the travelers can enjoy the scenic natural beauty of hills, mountains, and rivers. Reach Guptkashi, then check in to the hotel and take some rest. In the evening, prepare for the next day's journey, have dinner, and stay there.
Day 9 Guptkashi - Kedarnath
Get up early in the morning, and then the guide will drop you at the Helipad in Guptkashi/Phata/Sersi if you choose the Kedarnath Helicopter shuttle service to reach the temple. Alternatively, there is the option of a 16 km trek from Gaurikund. For that, the guide will drop you at Sonprayag, and from there, pilgrims need to opt for local jeeps to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund, begin the 16 km trek either by foot or take a palki/pony ride. Reach Kedarnath, offer prayers to Lord Shiva, then explore Bhim Shilla and Adi Shankaracharya. Check in to the hotel/ashram, have dinner, and overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 10 Kedarnath - Guptkashi
Wake up early in the morning and attend the morning aarti in Kedarnath Dham. Have breakfast and then start the journey back towards Gaurikund, then Sonprayag. After that, the guide will pick you up and drop you at the hotel in Guptkashi. Then take rest, have dinner, and stay at the hotel.
Day 11 Guptkashi - Badrinath
Have breakfast in the morning and check out from the hotel. The guide will pick you up and start traveling to Badrinath, the last destination of the Char Dham journey. Reach Badrinath after 6 hours of road journey. Check in to the hotel and then get ready to visit Badrinath. Explore and take a hot dip in the Tapta Kund. Spend some time there, attend the evening aarti in the temple, return back to the hotel, and overnight stay there.
Day 12 Badrinath - Rishikesh
Wake up early in the morning and grab the chance to attend the morning aarti in Badrinath Dham. Then you can visit local attractions including Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mana Village. Then start your journey back towards Rishikesh. Reach Rishikesh via Srinagar, where you can visit Dhari Devi Temple. Check in to the hotel in Rishikesh and overnight stay there.
Day 13 Rishikesh - Delhi - Chennai
After having breakfast in the morning, check out from Rishikesh. Before heading back home, visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Then, our guide will take you to Delhi, around 5 hours of road travel. From Delhi, the guide will drop you at the railway station or airport for your flight back to Chennai.
Day 14 Arrive Chennai
